From about 1982 on, I worked, on and off, with Richard Gagnon at various Towers locations. I would love to get back into contact with him again.
As I recall, Richard is from Quebec, possibly the Quebec City area. He moved to Mississauga and lived there with his wife. I first met him at the Towers Westside store (#34). We were both Assistant Managers. And as often happens, we both moved around to different stores in the GTA. Richard ended up at the time Towers was sold as the manager at the Towers Belleville store. I believe he stayed on for awhile after Zellers converted the store, but am not certain.
Richard was thin, about 6' tall, wore a mustache and glasses. I remember he suffered from migraines allot.

The website, and this blog, will attempt, slowly and over time, to put a face to a company that, on balance, treated me well and that I fondly remember -- especially the people I worked with. Stretching from Ontario to the east coast, Towers (Bonimart in Quebec) affected the working lives of many.
